I felt called to share this song with you, “Beauty for Ashes” which is compelling because every note holds so much emotion.

This song represents the beauty that forms from the contrition of the heart. When we go through difficulty, if we allow it, we can find the pearl that is formed from the challenge — the gift that lies in the shadow. Sometimes in order to feel the love within our hearts the walls we put around ourselves must be broken down. 💜

Before I went in to record, a friend of mine shared with me that they were going through a rough time of separating from a long term relationship and was having difficulty letting go of the child they had helped raised. As a mother, I felt so much compassion and asked if I could carry their heart with me as I sang this song for anyone else that is going through a rough time.

While you listen to this transmission, allow yourself to feel all of your emotions fully. Go to the depths of your heart and give yourself full permission to let go. 🙏
